So Sram is debuting their new Red group this year. Red was initially introduced in 2007, and until recently, with the introduction of Campagnolo Super record titanium, it was the lightest group set. According to what I read on cycling news, the new red group will be 250 grams lighter than current Red and 240 grams lighter than the Super Record. That's over half a pound. Amazing. My mind is blown.
