My Story:

Since I could walk I’ve always an incredibly active kid. I would ride my bike off jumps and run around our family’s Oregon Cul-De-Sac for hours on end, only coming in when my Mother’s call for dinner had clear tones of fury in it. My parents supported me in everyting I did, as long as I always gave my best. I started swimming competitively around age 6 and it fit well into my desire to win at anything that could be measured. The daily practices tought me dedication and the concept of working towards a goal. I was introduced to triathlon at age 12 by a longtime coach and mentor, who eventually encouraged me to pursue a career in the sport. We raced cycling events together, worked on my run through collegiate cross country, won an 18-19 National Championship, qualified me for my pro card, and eventually the U23 World Championships in 2012. In 2013 I joined The Triathlon Squad and tackled my first full professional season.
